2010's Christmas was indeed another memorable and enjoyable holiday I had. Last year was a dream came true holiday. I has always wanted to celebrate Christmas in Singapore since young. I have always heard people telling me how beautiful Singapore is during Christmas every year. Unfortunately I can always thought but it has never really materialize. Again it was possible with Jeremy around.
I told him how badly I wanted to go Singapore ever since I knew him. Due to tight schedules, we had actually put the plans on hold. However, he made an effort to book a Holiday Golf Resort and thank God for being able to book it for free! It means we get to stay there for 3 days 2 nights for FREE! Hooray! This time he took his family along.
All of us had a great time. We went to the following places:
1) Singapore Zoo
2) Orchard Road
3) Universal Studio
4) Bugis Street
I was once again fascinated by animals at the Singapore Zoo just like the one I enjoyed in Melbourne. Guys..should make a trip there be it young or old..very educational!
Dear was so reluctant when I asked him to do this...
He's in action....
This boy was feeding the White Rhinosaurus during the feeding time
Fruits were the food for them
This keeps me thinking until today...KFC adopts Zebra??
Orchard during Christmas 2011
Things are expensive there if we actually factor in conversion rate. I did not buy manage to buy anything because of that. However, there was this one place which I must buy something for remembrance.Yes...I am referring to Universal Studio.
Manage to grabbed them before it started raining heavily
Food court just like Jurassic Park
This Rex thingy cost SGD17++
This Egypt Replica really fascinates me
Thank God we bought the entrance ticket about 3 weeks earlier. We bought it online or we might end up with disappointments thinking we can get it on the spot. This was what happened to most of the people.
The sight of Universal Studio really caught me off-breath. It was simply beautiful. Me, Jeremy and Joel were so excited the moment we stepped our foot there. It was like entering to another land in every stops.
Please make time to enjoy all the rides there. We went there during year-end holidays and the place was packed like sardine! We waited for at least 45 minutes for each ride. The time was mostly spend on queuing but trust me...it was worth waiting. You would not want to miss any of the ride! Sadly, there were few rides we did not manage to enjoy it due to time constrain. In fact not all rides are fully operational. It will only be fully functional this year.
I plan to visit Universal Studio again one day. I am keeping my fingers crossed. After all, I just want to thank you dear for making my dream come true!
By the way...we stayed at Orchid Country Club. Nice place! We will come again Singapore!
