~NeW YeaR wISheS~
Today is the day we gonna bid farewell to 2008 and just a couple of hours we are going to welcome a new year...2009.
Of course everyone hopes for a new start in a new year right? As for me..I just hope that my life will be challenging yet exciting. Praise the Lord for all he has given us. It is our duty to fully utilize our abilities.
May the year of cow filled our life with laughters, tears of joy and health. Let us all prosper in career.
I just want to wish all me friends out there to be stronger than before as I believe this coming year is a year of challenge as we are facing world economic crisis. Let's not make it as a barrier for you to enjoy the coming 2009. Life is a test. I called it Test of Worthiness. Remember the prey and the predator? Only the fittest will survive. Prove to yourself and your loved ones that you have a purpose-driven life.
Obstacles is just a part and parcel of life.
New year brings new challenges? Are you ready to take the challengeS??

You guys must be thinking hard right? Well, sounds mysterious =)
Apart from that...guys I went to Bukit Merah for the first time! Okok..some of you might be laughing by now. I seldom travel when I was young. I was having hell lot of fun at the water theme park. The body slide was amazing! You guys must try! There are others just as exciting. It was quite packed on that day as it was a weekend and school holiday as well. But..the more the merrier right? I even cycled! I felt like my dream came true! Opps..exaggerated! But..I have not cycle for the past 10 years, at least! I almost forgotten how does a bicycle looked like!hehe
I really enjoyed myself and I feel so blessed for everything.
Well, another wedding to attend this sun! Wow..so far how many dinner have I attended this year alone??

mY tHOugHtS....
Greetings! Time passes way too fast. It is November now...then December and....2009.
Can't believe that a year just passes like that.
As I am blogging this...I really have nothing in my mind...no particular story...nothing.
Everything I wrote is very spontaneous. So do forgive me my friends if I ever bored you. I am so sorry. I have left my university for the past one year ++.
For those who have just graduated...working world is not as simple as we (students) used to think. I always thought of completing my education as soon as possible so that I can have no worries...Imagine of not having to burn midnight oil for exams...no directories to read...no brain to crack!
Forgive me to tell the truth...sometimes you wish to pack your belonging and go back to study. Some of you might wonder why. As for me..it is always the own-experiences that best explain all. So I do not have to brag about it...you will know what I mean when the time comes.
Oh yeah...next week will be my brother's big day! Wow..can't believe I will be having a sister-in-law. Just wish them lifetime happiness.
Well guess I am running out of words on what to crap. Can I call this a blog?

JuST ChiLl
Ohayo! I am back again…ermm after quite some time I guess.
As usual..I just want to share a few articles which I read. One of the article was regarding friendship.
I found it very interesting and I would just want to share with all.
Have you ever feel like screaming at your friend/friends whom was/were very close to you? Close friend? Best friends?
Maybe yes maybe not. As far as I am concerned…this happens very often to all of us. Once you “clicked” with your friend, you find that there is a chemistry bond between the two of you. Should I use the word “inseparable”?
Things may just take a twist and …..BOOM….you are so frustrated! With who?? Your so-called-inseparable friend. She might not be in the same mood as you are. Take an example; You were excited about the company which you are about to join. You are sharing your excitement and are talking bout it with her. Guess what…she was not only excited but her attitude only demotivates you. Oww…what a bad day huh?
She might have lost herself. In fact, we sometimes too have to put ourself in their shoes. Something bad might have happened. She has no one to talk to as well. So…what’s the solution?
I strongly suggest that we should be a true friend by starting to care and not backfire. This is the time to be a FRIEND-IN-NEED. She might just spill the beans and you might be the greatest help by just listening. It is a proven fact that girls likes to be listened. Solution is always the seconder. Just be there and I can guarantee that the bond will be even stronger than before. It works as good as in the case of relationship. Hardwork always pays off.
Do not ignore but you can opt to show your vulnerability side. If anything that your friend does hurts you eventually…spill it. Confront it..not with yelling and screaming please. Once he/she knows..they will start to evaluate themselves on the things that they did or said. They themselves sometimes has to be told on their behavior. Reflection is good.
A friendship is worth-saving provided he/ she did not back stab you. Who wants a friend that is selfish? Think of others before you. I love this article!
Well…guess that is all for now. I will share more interesting stories in my next blog…
Watch out ya…

PBB 42nd Anniversary for Central Region
Last Friday, 10th of October 2008, at the Banquet of Syuen Hotel…there was an event…yeah..PBB 42nd anniversary dinner. It was a celebration by all the central region’s staffs.
There is really nothing much to talk about as it was a yearly affair at the same venue. But…as a staff of PBB…it was definely an event which everyone can gather around and mingle..of course you can see Mr. Charmings and Princesses all beautifully dresses up.
Who know someone might just find new sparks at that night…banking life is all about paper work and less interaction with others at times.
Well…back to this year event..the opening by the professional dancers was…no offence ya..frankly speaking was not that “professional. To me it was nothing special.
However, when it comes to inter-branch competition..the highlights were remarkable. There were few performances which I personally liked..of course my office…hehe Regional office. Anyway they were really awesome..if only you guys were there to check it out. Not to forget IMO’s Thriller dance. Wow..who would have thought that not-so-professional will choose this dance..but watch out…Not-so-professional actually danced professionally in the end…dun play play man! In fact just the costume itself worth crediting.. =P
The food was so-so. Anyway..hotel food ma…what to expect. Our table gift was quit dissapointing..feel bad if I mention here..let’s keep it a secret ya.
The night ended quite late..about 1 am. After all the hard work and sweats..those who participated can actually heaved a sigh of relief…and we call it a day.

We caN MaKe a dIFFerEncE
Last Saturday, 20th September 2008, All staffs of PBB Central Regional Office went for a charity work.. and that includes me too. Our Regional Manager, Mr Ng joined us as well. I felt so grateful as Jeremy was so nice to join us even though he is from Ipoh Main.

Venue : Rumah Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Batu Gajah, Perak
Attire : DJP T-shirts
We were greeted by the person in-charge, Ms Maleeka. We were briefted on the history of the place and how it was run. Suddenly I felt like we should all be thankful for everything that we have. Take a look at yourself before ever blaming everything that has happened to you. There are people out there who were in pain. I am very sure everyone of us who went there felt the same.
Well...back to business.. Our purpose there was to help them to do come clean-up as well as to entertain the unfortunates. We managed to raise funds amounting RM2210. Thanks to the genorosity of all those who donated. A big thank you to Central Region's staffs, BCM, JSI as well as to our performer, Jeremy.

garbage bag, 24 toilet-scent sticks, 1 ceiling mop,
1 dustban, 4 bottles of Dettol
We mopped the floor, cleaned the toilet, wiped the windows, cleaned the fans and so forth. Everyone of us were so co-operative that we managed to finish early at about 11am.

LaNTerN fesTiVaL 2008
Last Sunday was the Mooncake Festival. I was all excited about playing lantern and candles. I really miss my childhood....I always play lantern and candles over my grandma's place since I was small. My cousins and I used to light up candles at the mango tree.
As time passes...I grew up..so does all my cousins. I really miss those days. Therefore I persuaded my boyfriend to celebrate this festival with me this year. We had fun..Yeah...lighting up lantern and candles.
I really felt like a kid all over again the moment I hold the lantern. It feels good.
Look at me...I was not playing with a lantern but FOUR!
Me and Darlin
He made this for me...
Agree??
Til then!

Run..Run...Run!!
It's me Peipei here again.
I went for a charity run yesterday. It was an event organised by one of the developer in Ipoh. It was a 5km run. No joke...considered a big deal for a girl who hardly play any sports.
I was just trying to have fun by joining this run. It was fun afterall. I joined for the sake of exercising and to be a part of this event. Guess how long I took to complete this 5km run??
Okok...I was not good...expected but I was kinda proud because I managed to complete the run. There was no time frame for this. Only the first three runners who reaches the finishing line will receive trophies and cash prizes.
It took me 37 minutes to complete. I must admit that I did made walked when I was tired to regain my strength. I was about to give up but I told myself not to..."Just keep moving forward". And.......I did it! Hooray!!
Few hours after the run....oww.the pain comes in. Both my thigh were aching...must be sign and symptoms of people who hardly exercise...like me!! =P
I can hardly walk down the stairs...you should look at the way I walk now..you would be laughing. It is like a DUCK walking! lol
Overall..no regrets as I had hell lot of fun and I am now trying to adapt to a more sporty and outgoing lifestyle. I want to be healthy and fit...Do you?

Had Yai
I just came back from my Hadyai trip with all my beloved fellow colleagues! We were there for 3 days and one night.
We took a midnight tour bus. I have to reveal something…PBB SMEs were all alcoholics! They even brought a box of beer. We finished it even before we leave Perak!
We were so noisy until we were complained and this was when things started to turn ugly. We were seated at the back of the bus instead. It was our fault indeed as there were other passengers who wanted to rest. Well…it was ok anyway.
We reached there Thai immigration at about 0800. Along the journey, we made a few stops to “makan” and rest. I have to reveal something… It took forever to pass the Thai immigration. We spent about an hour and half at there! There were just too many people waiting to enter the Thai border..probably it was weekend.
We were all way too exhausted. What we needed at that time was a bed.
Opps have I forgotten to tell you guys that they were all sleeping soundly after the drink?? Drunken SME’s! Hehe.
As the bus we followed was a tour, we had no choice but to follow their programmes instead. They took us to temples. It was not very favorable to us.
They took us to a place in which there was a corpse of a monk whose hair was still growing.
Then there were “sam thai zhi” and lastly the Mount Kuan Yin. I quite enjoyed this place! I climbed bout 300 steps before reaching the top. The scenery there was beautiful! We saw the whole Thailand from there.
Next stop was to Samila Beach. I saw the Mermaid staue and the "Rat and Cat" statue. Managed to taste the Thai coconut and bought some cheap souvenirs too.
We then went for a quick seafood lunch before heading back to the hotel. We stayed in Sakol Hotel, Songkhla. The hotel was generally comfortable and clean. Overall…it was cozy. We bathed and rested before heading for our dinner at a restaurant. Chinese style..but not any better than Malaysia…trust me! It was still ok anyway.
Guess what was our next destination??...I am very excited here!! Few of my colleagues and myself went for “ah kua” show! To be honest, that was the first time I’d seen such a show. I have not been to Thailand before this…a bit outdated..I know =P
14 of us cramped in a van and we headed down to Hansa Superclub Café. It was a clubbing area there. There were Pink and Paragon next to it. I was seated third row from the front.
Wow,…my feeling that time was curious, excited, and scared! I waited bout 45 minutes before the show starts. Overall…they were beautiful. You could hardly trust your own eyes. They were all so feminine that you could not even imagine they used to be a man! I felt belittled af ter being teased by my colleague, Wan!
He was so bad! Hehe. They went for clubbing at Paragon while I went for a walk along the night street! I shopped a little and I had finally tasted the much-talked-about McD Samurai Pork Burger!! I love it! One word..delicious!!
Do remember to try if you have not, ya! What to do next…ZZZZ. We called it a day!
On the next day, we requested for a free and easy day. We went to Central market and everyone shopped like mad! Including myself! Have to change to additional Baht…Hehe Basically I bought clothings, fruits and dried fruits for my family members. Came with empty hands but going back with…ermm…uncountable.
We continued our shopping spree downtown hotel!
Night time we actually spent some crazy time with friends. I was not really part of it as I was not feeling well.
On our last day, we just had a quick breakfast before we checked out.
On the way back to Ipoh, we made a few stops. We reached Ipoh quite late about 730 pm. We were all exhausted.
Generally, Hadyai is really a shopping paradise for those who loves T-shirts, shoes, handbags etc.
However the food there really not my type..I don’t really like it!..except seafood…I had food poisoning once I reached Malaysia…sobsob.
Food there was quite expensive as well. A plate of chicken rice (not nice) cost 40 Bahts (RM4), tom yam (tasteless) costs 50 Bahts (RM5) while the wan tan mee (weirdest I ever seen) costs 35 Bahts (RM3.50). I enjoyed myself too anyway.
Well I am so sorry if I have drag this whole thing. Once again..thanks for reading!
Till then!
Cheers!
