Updates....

Today is the 1st day of the last month for year 2010. How time flies.

I am counting the days to Christmas celebration. A lot has been going on in my life for the last one month. Just about three weeks ago, I was involved in the multimedia for HSBC Living Business Seminar follwed by HSBC 100 years anniversary celebration. Both the function were held at Impiana Casuarina Hotel. Honestly speaking, Casuarina is a no-no for function. Overall, the people over there is not responsible and committed. For seminar/conference I would suggest Tower Regency Hotel but bear in mind their food is rather bad.

I want to thank Sunny for giving me a free make-up. Without him, I might have spent min RM65 for make-up and hair-do. He really did a fantastic job. Hence, anyone who is looking for a make-up artist, I have a young and talented friend to recommend. I had a great time there. I have picture to upload but due to some connection issue at home, do bear with me. I'll upload it asap.

Did I just mention bout connection issue? Well, just for your information, my modem at home was struck by lighting. It could have been prevented but...well, what has happened has happened. Anyway, there will be no connectivity at my house for min 2 months. I was lost for 3 weeks. My Maxis broadband can't even help. Oh dear...Maxis connection is getting worse over my place. No broadband connection and the reception was basically nil! It left me with no choice but to switch to Digi.

Finally I am with Digi since yesterday. Have been trying the new broadband and phone line reception. So far so good. Anyway, will continue to test on it.

On 04Sep2010 is my region's annual dinner. It will be held at Golden Sand Hotel in Penang. Will update more on my next blog.

Till then.

God continues to bless me....

Hi my dear friends...it has been quite some time since I last blogged....one might wonder maybe there is nothing interesting to be shared though...in fact I have a lot but I would just like to focus on how God has blessed me for the last few months.

First and foremost, I want to thank God that I passed my CCP examination!! It was such a joy for I know the passing mark is so high, 80%. Phew, I cried out to God and God will always remain faithful.

Secondly, I want to thank God as finally my wedding date is sort of decided. Now just waiting for Pastor to acknowledge the date. One thing I want to share is that if we remain faithful, God will not forsake us. God will even bless us more if we continue to dwell in the house of the Lord. I have finally placed deposit for a house. It was more expensive than the one me and Jeremy intend to purchase in the beginning yet God has his ways. We set our eyes on another unit on booking day! Praise the Lord for it is a more spacious house. His family and my family also blesses us. If is is not God's hand then whose hands are laid upon our life?

Further to that, our housing loan just approved within two working days. This are all great news. Now we really have to sit down and start planning for our home.

God also lay His hands upon my work.I made major mistakes but God just came tomy rescue and grant me peace. He sent his angels/ good people to help me. Thank you so much O Lord God that You never grow weary of my prayer needs. Thank You Father. Thank You Jesus. Thank You Holy Spirit.

All glory to You.

Troubled Heart

Unhappy thought and disappointments was what I strongly felt for the last few days. It has taught me something very true...we, human can plan but it is God who decides. I might have planned a lot of things but sometimes simple things/disturbances might just shake it off. My weekend did not went well as what I have planned.

Lord, have I thought too much or am I just being too pushy? Guess I am very impatient and I would like things to be well-planned and in order. Instead of making myself so troubled and be saddened,I have finally decided not to do anything but to pray and let God decides.

Let God be my shepherd. O Lord God, You are my saviour. Please give me peace from within. God, please give me patience and strength too. Thank you God. All praise, honor and glory to you. In Jesus name I asked and pray. Amen.

Last Photo Shoot Session - Engagement

16 September 2010, Kellie's Castle, Gopeng....This was the last venue for our engagement photo shoots. Woke up very early as usual...girls just wanna look pretty anyway.

Weather was terrible. The sun was scorching my skin the moment I stepped out from the house. I knew it's going to be a hot day man! Plan went on as usual...me, Jeremy, Joel and Dhanaraj went to the destination in a car. I was complaining all the way. The sunlight was making me sick but there was no turning back.

We reached there before 9.00am and we waited in the car. Everyone was not really in the mood to take good pictures due to the weather but all were trying their best efforts.. Just for your information, foreigner workers there are charging us unreasonably. Initially we paid RM14 for 4 as entrance fees. They charged us extra RM50 for modelling-type photo shoot. Ridiculous! At the end, Jeremy paid the extra just to avoid any disturbance from these people. They were just trying to cheat our money, at least that was what I thought!

Ready...shooting time.. It was a bit difficult to take good pictures as the sun was too strong. Shadow was everywhere plus Jeremy's flash was not working. Well, his batteries for camera and flash went dead shortly. Oh my! Luckily we have Dhanaraj who was using Nikon as well. Used his camera's battery instead. As for the flash, we were left with no choice but to use the traditional method, the reflector. Luckily Joel and Dhanaraj were there to assist us. Things was not going smooth due to the weather. Everyone felt like just leave but we tried our best to take as many as we can as we have paid for it!

As for the end products, I am waiting for Jeremy to process it. I will reveal more when the time is right!

Till then.

Cheers.

CCP Paper 1 in UM

This really helps - kept me awake & energized!

Alarm rang at 4.30am. Yes 4.30am. I had a train at 5.30am to catch in order for me to sit for the CCP Paper 1 examination which was held in UM, my former university on the 4Sep2010.

ETS train from Iph-KL Sentral

Oh gosh, time really flies. The last time when I stepped into my university/campus was my graduation. That was almost 3 years ago! A lot of fond memories as well as loneliness caught a few moment of thoughts as I walked around the campus. I miss my course mate, Loke, Yu Gi, Ah Fatt, Ching Lee, Evonne and Edwin. They have been such a joy and blessing. Not to forget my lovely and adorable room mate, Meng Nee. How can I ever thank him for being such a caring, considerate, funny and patience girl. By the way, she taught me Mandarin for the past 2 years! That was definitely a miracle!

I was walking around the campus searching for food. Oh man, all the stalls were closed. My colleagues were walking together with me while I took the lead showing them all the cafeteria around. A lot of changes has took place since I last studied there. Well, finally we gave up. We went into the exam hall, with sweat.

Everyone around me asking how did I fare in that paper. Honestly, I knew it was not bad as I managed to answer most of it. However, due to the 80% of passing mark, I just keep my fingers crossed. 3 weeks from now will determine whether I will proceed to Paper 3 or to retake Paper 1.

God, into Your hands I commit again. All glory to You!

Today is the day. Yeah, 15th August 2010 at Tropicana Grand Ballroom. You can see batik everywhere. One might start to wonder are we having a nyonya wedding?? Where was Baba and where was Nyonya?

choir in action

Well, all the hard work was for today, Church of Praise 25th Anniversary. It all went well and everyone had a joyous celebration. Most importantly was God's presence with us all. God has blessed the worship team, all the pastors, the performers, church members, multimedia, food etc.

We had all the performances lined up dishes after dishes. One might be so busy looking at the stage but not on the food. This especially goes out to worship team, choir, MC, conductor, youth, etc. They have been changing shirt after shirt running up and down. Deep down in my heart, I felt joy and happiness to be able to stand in front of everyone and shout it out loud, Jesus is the Lord most high. I for one felt so wonderful to be a part of COP family and together we worship on this joyous celebration. The next one might be 25 years from now.

Everyone had fun. Some even danced at the closing of the celebration. If anyone were to dance and celebrate, it will definitely be God's people. We have joy, we have love and we have salvation. Amen!

~Time of My Life~

The Sunday worship team was having rehearsal as usual...Nothing unusual on that day..except everyone really poured out the heart to God for all the practices to make Church of Praise 25th Anniversary a success. Well, one more day to go...everyone was pretty excited especially those who has grow together with the church.

As for me and Jeremy, nothing unusual except we went to church earlier to practice. Alright, songs after songs, praise and worship..

Then, the song Glow came...all musicians were playing the intro..well, a usual I looked at the ground before the 1st verse starts...I heard everyone was screaming. As usual, before I even lift up my head to see what was going on, Brother Ooi shook my shoulder and cried out,"PeiPei, PeiPei..look..look!!!".

"What..what??", I asked.
He replied,"Look at the screen!".

Oh my God!!!!!! I saw "Pei Pei, will you marry me" on the screen!!!

I was surprised..but hey the first thought that came to my mind was..this is certainly a prank! Must be one that set up by Joel to trick his brother. I snared at Jeremy then. Everyone was still shouting and sneering away.

Jeremy just took off his guitar...Oh Oh my heart always leaped out! He walked towards me...Someone please slap me to wake me up! I asked Wai Ching, "Isthis a real world or am I just dreaming?". Deep down in my heart I know it was real when he started walking towards me. I was caught of not knowing anything..

As he draw closer and closer, finally he was just right in front of me. I did not know what to say but to look at him with eyes filled with tears. The man I love was standing right in front of me and he was holding a box. I can see how nervous he was. Then the moment came.

He smiled at me and the next minute he was down on his bended knee. He looked at me and said,"I have decided to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me". Right at that second, I feel like I was the happiest girl on earth. To have a man you love so much to say proposed in such a way. Deep in my heart, I wanted to shout,"I do!!I do". Instead, I said I do softly as I was very shy. Everyone was cheering at us. He took a ring out from the box.

Gosh, I have never seen him so nervous before when he was trying to fit the ring onto my finger. His hands were shaking. Well, I did something everyone laughed even until today. Instead of letting him guiding my finger towards the ring,I helped him to wear the ring on my finger instead. All the choir members were laughing. And the next minute before I realized, I am engaged to the person I love so much, Jeremy Loh.

Today, at this moment I always smiled remembering that moment. It all seemed so fresh yet alive in my conscious mind. If I am dreaming, please do not wake me up as I want to stay in that dream.

I just want to tell him how thankful and blessed I am to be with him. Knowing that our relationship is one step closer to marriage. Not forgetting God who has blessed our relationship tremendously, Angela, my sponsor. The ring commentor, Elijah & James. The advisor, Julia and all the other worship and choir members. It has been a God's blessing to have my wonderful brothers and sisters as my witness of that unforgettable day! Thank you and may we continue to serve the Lord with all our heart and soul.

I love you guys. I love you Jeremy!!
