Melbourne....

while waiting to board the flight

Hello guys....I'm back from my two weeks vacation in Melbourne, Australia.

I just landed in Malaysia today. My trip was from 14th November 2009 until 26th November 2009. The time spent over there was fantastic!

I took a Yoyo bus from Syuen Hotel to LCCT at 4.00am...Thank God me and dear can make it in time cos we were late for bout 5 minutes! The bus driver was so nice to have waited for us...anyway there were only two of us to pick-up from there! =P We then headed straight to Bercham to pick-up other passengers. We reached LCCT quite early. We just hang around and had an early breakfast at McD. We checked in and the adventures began...

Departure time: 1.30pm
Speed: 870km/hr
Altitude: 35,000 feet
Outside Air: -45.4 F

The seats were the non-reclining seat. Dear was getting very uncomfortable...Anyway...what to expect from low-cost carrier right?

We were pretty excited but it rained right before we were in the plane.

Thank God we bought some magazines to read as to kill the 8 hours flight time. Then it was lunch time...We ordered meals from the flight and mind if I say they were pretty expensive.

RM4 for a small bottle of mineral water? RM6 for a Mamee cup noodle??Oh gosh...I can even buy a whole packet of cup noodles! Ok..it is not that I don't know..just to find a place to crap!hehe

So Dear ordered Pak Nasser's Malaysian Nasi Lemak which costs RM12 while I ordered Mamee Cup Noodle which costs RM6. The reason I ordered noodle was simply because it was cool in the flight...I need some hot soup to warm my body. Not to forget a bottle of mineral water (which costs RM4) as we were greatly dehydrated. My noodle was normal..anyway what special taste can one get from cup noodle right?haha

Pak Nasser's Malaysian Nasi Lemak

Mamee Cup Noodle -Vegetarian Flavour

As for dear...the rice was ok...not bad but the amount was so little...I just don't think it was ever enough for dear..so he ate some of my noodle...as you can see here
I ate his rice as well...

We were then hungry when it comes to 7.10pm...
Alright...dinner time...we ordered Big Bruce's Smokey BBQ Chicken and Mamee Cup Noodle.

Mamee Cup Noodle - Curry Flavour

That kept us until 12.05am (Australia time; Malaysia: 10.05am). We landed at Melbourne Airport. We had an "interviewing" session with the immigration officers there before they allowed us in.

Ellina & Marshal came and picked us up from the airport. It took about an hour from the airport to Vermont. We unpacked our belongings and stayed in Marshal's house. We were so blessed as Marshal and his wife, Sophia prepared a room for us to stay. We then dozed off...

~A New eXperIeNCe~

I have been MIA for quite some time. A lot of things has happened in my life for the past one month I would say. I have changed my job and bought a new car just to name a few.

Things have been quite tough for me in the beginning. Imagine someone from a banking industry changed to education!Wow...everyone was shocked...and that includes myself! When I think back, I felt the same thing too when I first started working in a bank after I graduated. Life is really full of mystery and unexpected God's will.

Although I was challenged emotionally...I walk in the ways of the Lord. It was windy and patchy at the beginning of my new path. I really wanted to take this opportunity to thank my boyfriend and sponsor for guiding me and helping me through the very difficult moment. I chose to walk in courage, faith and love. It has always been these three factors that motivates me all along...even until now. I want to be the one to take the path and let my life be a living testimony to all.

Apart from that, I just bought a new car recently. So you guys can imagine that life has been very different for me.

After all...I am learning to trust in Him. Btw, I will be leaving to Melbourne on the 14th Nov to 26th Nov. So I will update my journal over here once I am back.

Till then.

God bless.

~Paintball Challenge~

Bonjour!!

Last weekend was a long holiday...So I went to Gopeng together with my friends from young adult cell to "kill" each other!!

Hehe...What I am trying to say here is that we went to Sungai Jahang in Gopeng for a Paintball game.

On our way to Sungai Jahang, Gopeng

Heys, that was my first time ever playing paintball!! I was excited and kinda nervous at the same time!! I always heard feedback from people that it is real painful...and you will ended up with bruises/blue-black mark on the body...So why do I still insist to go...as usual....wanna have fun

The journey from Simpang Pulai to Gopeng took us bout 20 minutes. I always thought Gopeng is very far but I was definely wrong!! But the journey to the paintball zone is quite secluded. After all it was a game in a real jungle!! Wow...just by reminiscing makes me excited once again!!

Getting equipped for battle!! The jacket stinks!!

My Team

Ready to ice opponent

There were about 20 of us. We had so much fun. Two games with 100 pallets for each...each team will have the chance to be Defender and Attacker! What's your final quest?? If you wanna know....then come and join us...

Let's get dirrty and adventurous guys!! Do not be surprised if you are bitten by weird and giant bugs! Hehe...there I go again...exagerating.

Look at the pallets left after my first round

Aiming at the helmet..

This was quite heavy

Quickly run...I might accidentally pulled the trigger!!

I'm going for another war on this Sat...guess I'm the only girl...lets FIGHT!! =)

~RUnNing FOr reAL~

Hello my friends!!

As some of you might know that I joined the Ipoh International Run 2009. This was the second time I took part so far! The first time was when I was 18. I still remember it was a sort-of "farewell" for me as I was about to leave Malaysia. In fact it was a decision to quit my studies. Anyway it was a long story! =)

Well, on the 4th July 2009, I woke up as early as 4.45am just to prepare myself. Guess what...it was raining cats and dogs! Oh no....How to run?? Dear and I persevered and we went ahead. We picked up two youth before heading directly to stadium. We reached there about 615am and it was still raining.

We just prayed that the rain will stop. We waited in the car for about 20 minutes. Finally we had no choice but to run down as the reporting time was until 6.45am. I was thinking...."rain..rain...go away...come again some other day..."

All the competitors waited until 7am and they started to make noise. We were 15 minutes behind the proposed flag-off time. I saw a lot of professional runners. They were no other than the Blacks...dear saw a national walker and iron man...just to name a few

Dear and I were shocked when we found out that there were about 2000++ participants for men open's category while 600++ for women open's category! Our chances to wince were shattered. To be honest, I never expect myself to win anything...a cert also seems almost impossible to me! Me and dear were supporting each other...Come on....JUST DO IT!!

Even the rain was heavy, that did not stopped all the participants to run...We ran...ran..and ran. Within 5 minutes, dear was out of my sight. He can run =) Aiks, that doesn't mean I can't! =P

I ran as long as my feet can carry me...Guess what...God is so good... He gave me strength and the fighting spirit...Check it out...I ran 10 km without even stopping for a second! Forget the water they provided along the route...The Lord asked me to keep moving forward! I obeyed...and I completed the run within 80 minutes. I took about an hour plus. I was at the 81 position! I was so shocked and happy at the same time. Darling was so proud of me.

However, dear was not that fortunate. He completed the run within 50 minutes and yet he did not receive anything. The competition was so stiff with all the male runners. He was competing with 2000++ runners.

I received a certificate and a medal. I can smell the sweetness of victory. It was not that I was trying to prove that I was great..but deep down I did it with because of God...

We then went back to clean-up before heading to church for the second service.

It was fun and we enjoyed it so much!!

As for now....see you guys!!
