Hi Guys.
It's me Peipei here again.
I went for a charity run yesterday. It was an event organised by one of the developer in Ipoh. It was a 5km run. No joke...considered a big deal for a girl who hardly play any sports.
I was just trying to have fun by joining this run. It was fun afterall. I joined for the sake of exercising and to be a part of this event. Guess how long I took to complete this 5km run??
Okok...I was not good...expected but I was kinda proud because I managed to complete the run. There was no time frame for this. Only the first three runners who reaches the finishing line will receive trophies and cash prizes.
It took me 37 minutes to complete. I must admit that I did made walked when I was tired to regain my strength. I was about to give up but I told myself not to..."Just keep moving forward". And.......I did it! Hooray!!
Few hours after the run....oww.the pain comes in. Both my thigh were aching...must be sign and symptoms of people who hardly exercise...like me!! =P
I can hardly walk down the stairs...you should look at the way I walk now..you would be laughing. It is like a DUCK walking! lol
Overall..no regrets as I had hell lot of fun and I am now trying to adapt to a more sporty and outgoing lifestyle. I want to be healthy and fit...Do you?

Had Yai
Greetings my dear friends!
I just came back from my Hadyai trip with all my beloved fellow colleagues! We were there for 3 days and one night.
We took a midnight tour bus. I have to reveal something…PBB SMEs were all alcoholics! They even brought a box of beer. We finished it even before we leave Perak!
We were so noisy until we were complained and this was when things started to turn ugly. We were seated at the back of the bus instead. It was our fault indeed as there were other passengers who wanted to rest. Well…it was ok anyway.
We reached there Thai immigration at about 0800. Along the journey, we made a few stops to “makan” and rest. I have to reveal something… It took forever to pass the Thai immigration. We spent about an hour and half at there! There were just too many people waiting to enter the Thai border..probably it was weekend.
We were all way too exhausted. What we needed at that time was a bed.
Opps have I forgotten to tell you guys that they were all sleeping soundly after the drink?? Drunken SME’s! Hehe.
As the bus we followed was a tour, we had no choice but to follow their programmes instead. They took us to temples. It was not very favorable to us.
They took us to a place in which there was a corpse of a monk whose hair was still growing.
Then there were “sam thai zhi” and lastly the Mount Kuan Yin. I quite enjoyed this place! I climbed bout 300 steps before reaching the top. The scenery there was beautiful! We saw the whole Thailand from there.
Next stop was to Samila Beach. I saw the Mermaid staue and the "Rat and Cat" statue. Managed to taste the Thai coconut and bought some cheap souvenirs too.
We then went for a quick seafood lunch before heading back to the hotel. We stayed in Sakol Hotel, Songkhla. The hotel was generally comfortable and clean. Overall…it was cozy. We bathed and rested before heading for our dinner at a restaurant. Chinese style..but not any better than Malaysia…trust me! It was still ok anyway.
Guess what was our next destination??...I am very excited here!! Few of my colleagues and myself went for “ah kua” show! To be honest, that was the first time I’d seen such a show. I have not been to Thailand before this…a bit outdated..I know =P
14 of us cramped in a van and we headed down to Hansa Superclub Café. It was a clubbing area there. There were Pink and Paragon next to it. I was seated third row from the front.
Wow,…my feeling that time was curious, excited, and scared! I waited bout 45 minutes before the show starts. Overall…they were beautiful. You could hardly trust your own eyes. They were all so feminine that you could not even imagine they used to be a man! I felt belittled af ter being teased by my colleague, Wan!
He was so bad! Hehe. They went for clubbing at Paragon while I went for a walk along the night street! I shopped a little and I had finally tasted the much-talked-about McD Samurai Pork Burger!! I love it! One word..delicious!!
Do remember to try if you have not, ya! What to do next…ZZZZ. We called it a day!
On the next day, we requested for a free and easy day. We went to Central market and everyone shopped like mad! Including myself! Have to change to additional Baht…Hehe Basically I bought clothings, fruits and dried fruits for my family members. Came with empty hands but going back with…ermm…uncountable.
We continued our shopping spree downtown hotel!
Night time we actually spent some crazy time with friends. I was not really part of it as I was not feeling well.
On our last day, we just had a quick breakfast before we checked out.
On the way back to Ipoh, we made a few stops. We reached Ipoh quite late about 730 pm. We were all exhausted.
Generally, Hadyai is really a shopping paradise for those who loves T-shirts, shoes, handbags etc.
However the food there really not my type..I don’t really like it!..except seafood…I had food poisoning once I reached Malaysia…sobsob.
Food there was quite expensive as well. A plate of chicken rice (not nice) cost 40 Bahts (RM4), tom yam (tasteless) costs 50 Bahts (RM5) while the wan tan mee (weirdest I ever seen) costs 35 Bahts (RM3.50). I enjoyed myself too anyway.
Well I am so sorry if I have drag this whole thing. Once again..thanks for reading!
Till then!
Cheers!
